With just these three punches, Virudhaka Bodhisattva was caught off guard. Having already been injured by Enlightenment Dao, and then struck by Zhang Junshi, he was on the brink of death.
The Wisdom Bodhisattva was originally en route when he sensed something amiss, not having seen Enlightenment Dao along the way. Otherwise, Virudhaka Bodhisattva would have been killed by Enlightenment Dao.
