Ryu Min joined a mercenary group and accepted a subjugation quest.
As a veteran mercenary, he was assigned a more difficult mission than others.
“This is the Forest of Beasts at the edge of the Lutus Mountain Range. The Hormos Merchant Guild has been struggling because of the beasts that occasionally attack the roads,” explained the subjugation leader, Kaltz, as he briefed the gathered mercenaries.
“Our mission is to eliminate the Blood Orcs, which are the most numerous monsters in the Forest of Beasts. They go berserk at the sight of blood and become stronger, so avoid getting wounded. Let’s move out.”
“Yes, sir!” the mercenaries responded.
While the group moved, Ryu Min gazed into the air.

The reward didn’t particularly catch his eye.
He no longer desired gold or experience points.
‘The only purpose is to raise my mercenary rank.’
By his estimation, completing this quest twenty times would allow him to reach the Master rank.
