From the time Horus walked into the basement entrance to when it hopped back out, only a moment had passed.

The others got out of the car, though they didn't all head in immediately. Gu He first extended a flesh tentacle into the basement to sweep the area. Only after confirming it was truly clear did he take the lead alongside Lorna and Sophia.
As a hunter, Lorna had the sharpest senses, and if any abnormal status effects arose, Sophia could wrest control of them.
Horus's scouting was right, however; this wasn't a trap.
Gu He walked down a short flight of stairs, the lighting growing increasingly bright. Below was a crude, cavern-like basement, barely larger than the living room in the Licai Basement. Old wooden crates and display shelves packed with various items were scattered about.
Right in the center sat a device resembling a hibernation pod—a hybrid of flesh and machinery extending numerous cables and pipes.
The illumination came from old electric wall lamps. The basement's power likely ran on batteries, coming online when the stone was activated.
"So much food. There's even Dongtu flatbread..." Lorna walked up to a food rack. "Smells pretty good, too."
