Heavy snow swirled down, blanketing the vast wasteland.

In the wilderness just north of the mud pit, a flood of race vehicles stood ready. The roar of engines shot skyward, mingling with the crowd's fanatical shouts and high-pitched singing.

Seen from the sky, the dense mass of disparate vehicles looked like wild grass sprawling across the snow.

The mud folk, freight haulers, wild dogs of the wasteland, and Street Dogs from every district gathered together today. Their brightly colored hair and clothes made the white snow shine.

Inside a heavily armored black Off-Road Vehicle in the middle of the flood, Lorna sat in the driver's seat, a cigarette dangling from her lips and both hands gripping the steering wheel.

"Reporting to Captain Lorna: unbuckled," Gu He said from the passenger seat. He hadn't fastened his either, holding a Thermos Cup in his hands.

In the backseat sat Sakai Huaqing, Pandora, and Sophia. Starlight, having logged off the Mind Network, was currently in Pandora's head. Suddenly, the Thermos Cup vibrated and yelled, "A whole car full of cups!"
