Chapter 252: Talent Chain
Gu He was startled to hear the latest news about Angie from Elizabeth in the wasteland outside the Red Rain House.
During their trip to the Mud Pond that day, his Gigolo Value had indeed increased a bit, and Angie had seemed willing to listen to both him and Lorna.
He had even told Angie to study hard, explaining that acquiring more knowledge would broaden her mind. She turned around and blew up her school cafeteria.
"So how is Angie now?"
"Angie is fine, she just has to transfer schools. The first bombing at Garden High School—ha, good for her. I'm truly happy for her; she's living life on her own terms. I need to keep working hard, too, and continue winning over other latent special-impairment persons."
The two talked as they walked. The small patch of wasteland in front of the warehouse had already been cleared up by Red Rain personnel. It now served as a playground for the children. Greenery had been planted, but in the early winter chill, only a few patches of grass still grew stubbornly.
Elizabeth smiled, tilting her head back to look up at the sky with her blue eyes. "Seth sure has a lot of special-impairment persons. I set a bad example."
Gu He knew Angie was highly talented and had a chance to become a latent heir to the consortium.
Yet one by one, they were all ending up as special-impairment persons... So, what about Vic Sterling?
