The unfinished buildings of Daxing Walled City in the Walled City District were packed tightly together. Even the main streets outside the settlement were narrow. Dilapidated pedestrian bridges hung suspended in the air, linking one walled city to another, while swathes of neon advertising signs blanketed the outer walls of the buildings.

On that day, she was still the haughty eldest daughter of the Gasboyne family.
But now, she was hidden in the trunk of this small Off-Road Vehicle, wearing torn, filthy clothes and a Wondrous Item Helmet, with a Miniature Remote-Controlled Bomb hanging around her neck.
Sophia looked at the streets outside the car. Nothing in the walled city had changed; it felt like returning to the day of the festival.
