Chapter 213: Some Changes

St. Munga District, Fun Bar.

The walls inside the bar were hung with children's toys: water guns, building blocks, puzzles, and model sports cars. A string of neon lights spelled out the colorful slogan "FUNNYMUDPEE," and the bar counter, scribbled with children's drawings, faced the display.

Patrons from all walks of life drank and joked together. Servers in oversized, street-style children's clothing circulated while the bartender greeted guests.

An old television across the room broadcast the news:

"The streets of Kabukicho have returned to normal after yesterday's severe clashes brought on by gang infighting."

The screen showed footage of riot police standing off against the crowd, along with images of black-clad Yakuza gathering in droves.

A spokesperson for the Liuguang City Police Department stated that, for the safety of Kabukicho's citizens, the tactical division would observe a truce with the Yakuza. They would cease offensive measures and enter a negotiation phase managed by the municipal government.

Laughter and cheers immediately erupted throughout the bar.

"That cracks me up! Only those shameless pieces of trash could spin a crushing defeat into an act of charity."
