Chapter 186: Indistinguishable
Lorna didn't personally go to the address Pandora provided to ask around. Walking right into a place the other party suggested would be far too stupid.
It could be a trap, a signal—anything was possible.
Through a middleman at the Fun Bar in the St. Munga District, she anonymously hired a mercenary to poke around. The address belonged to a strip club in the Central District called Light of Heaven. Pandora claimed she used to work there.
The middleman's intel confirmed that a DOLL named Flin really had worked there once.
But Flin had left Light of Heaven over a year ago. Where she went, or where she had originally come from, the mercenary couldn't discover. Light of Heaven was a high-end establishment; back then, Flin had exclusively serviced VIP members and never set foot in the regular lobby.
Naturally, the mercenary didn't manage to acquire any photos or footage of Flin. If even a place like Li Cai fiercely protected its privacy, an establishment in the Central District was far stricter. Information on both clients and DOLLs was locked down tight.
Just for that scrap of information, Lorna had paid the Fun Bar 150,000. The small cut she had received from the Fishpond following the Kabukicho Streets riot was already almost gone.
If she wanted to dig any deeper into Light of Heaven, even a million wouldn't be enough to open the right doors.
"Rumor has it that Flin could bring people pure bliss." That was the only other piece of information the Fun Bar had managed to glean.
