Chapter 139: Street Dog vs. Street Dog
The L'Éclat club lobby was playing "Dancing Girl," the hit song by popular female singer Yamako Oshima. Her voice sounded husky, melancholic, and filled with sorrow:
"I smile as I watch the night rain fall, tears suddenly overflowing. The burning passions of the past feel like a dream. Time will smooth away the pain, but I fear that before it does, I will have fallen in love with the suffering. When it is finally smoothed away, it will just be another wound."
Elizabeth said this song was fine and asked Miss Ayane not to skip it. "Mr. Angel, what do you think?"
"I don't mind." Gu He was being honest. As long as it wasn't a fist gang's song, it was perfectly fine.
He was much more concerned about what kind of dance they were going to do. He really wasn't good at it. He hadn't studied or danced much at all; the only routine he knew was radio calisthenics.
He noticed Vivian and Nimue walking closer. What were they trying to do...
"Waltz, jazz, mambo dance, jive, ballet...?"
Elizabeth listed off a few styles of dance, but seeing no reaction from the handsome Angel, she knew he was a total novice.
"It's alright, we can just dance however we like. The most important thing about dancing is using your body to express your emotions."
