"Your Legion's asking price is awfully cheap... just an apartment in the Jianggu District?"
Rain poured over Lorna's face, washing away her cold sweat as she gritted her teeth.
She looked at the woman in black standing before her, who had transformed to look exactly like her. She knew that at this very moment, in some other location, at least two other transcendents—an Assassin and an Actor—were wearing Helmet Equipment, connected to the hyper-dimensional mind network.
Through the mind network's channels, they possessed this DOLL together, forming an empathic Legion.
DOLL, J-Grade Program: Container.
A DOLL used its own body as a data Container. Other transcendents could use brain-to-brain connections or the mind network to link their personality data to the DOLL's cerebral cortex. This was known as "soul transference."
Afterward, for a sustainable period, the Doll Container would run the others' programmatic abilities, downscaling them to match its own transcendent talent and program grade.
Take, for example, a Doll Container with a Four-Speed Tier Talent and the rank of a One-Programmer.
If another transcendent possessed it—even an Assassin with an Overspeed Tier Talent and the rank of a Two-Programmer—their abilities would be downgraded to the Container's Four-Speed Tier Talent and One-Programmer rank. The Container would only be able to execute the Assassin's J-grade program abilities.
