Chapter 312: Having A Great Dinner
Daniel laughed when he saw the light in Dogo’s eyes fade as he slowly lost consciousness.
"Are you sure there won’t be any problems?" he asked as he looked at Serys.
"Don’t worry. No one should be able to find them here," she nodded calmly.
Daniel glanced around. Countless trees surrounded them, and in front of them were two figures — one a beautiful young woman, the other an old man — tied firmly to separate trees.
Of course, it wasn’t just ordinary trees or an ordinary method of restraint. They had used two special items that Serys owned to bind them.
Still, he felt some doubt. What if the items didn’t work properly and these two managed to escape? Wouldn’t that lead to a disaster?
"We just need to keep them here until we finish our task. Given their power level, they can survive for months without food or water," Serys added.
Daniel nodded. This place was probably the most deserted part of the forest, so thankfully, no one should suddenly stumble upon them.
"Well, it’s time to go," she said and flew off toward the carriage.
Daniel followed. Serys entered the carriage while he sat up front in the driver’s seat. He flicked the reins, and the carriage lifted into the air, flying toward their destination.
Seconds passed quietly. They weren’t far from Crystalgard anymore. After about ten minutes of flying, they could see the city walls in the distance.
"Where should I land?" Daniel asked telepathically.
