Chapter 224: Speech
Daniel explained his plan to them. It wasn’t anything too complicated or difficult.
His idea was to use the followers of the faith as soldiers to fight against the demon army. It was the only way they could win against the demons.
There were millions of believers in this city—even if only a small percentage of them joined, the numbers would still be huge and definitely helpful.
Of course, he had other intentions too, which he didn’t need to say out loud. He wanted to use the Mark of Death again, so that with every demon killed—whether by the believers or his Fallen—he could gain EXP.
But there were things to consider. Killing demons wasn’t easy. Not at all. And he doubted the followers would even be able to kill a single one.
"It’s a good idea, but is it even possible? How are they going to kill demons?" Evangelin was the first to break the silence and ask.
The three Paragons looked at her, then at Daniel. It was obvious they had the same question.
"Actually, I do have a way. But we’ll need weapons. A lot of weapons."
"I can take care of the weapon issue... but this might cause the death of many believers. Is it really the only way?" Evern said, a bit hesitant.
Daniel was surprised by his words. He really hadn’t expected this guy to care about the lives of the followers.
"There’s no other way. If we don’t do this, the entire Holy City will be destroyed."
