Chapter 160: Supreme Law Of Death
After going upstairs, Daniel searched for the room with the matching number on the token. Once he found it, he entered and looked around.
It wasn’t very big, but not exactly small either. He could sense the presence of various arrays in the room.
"Wait, these aren’t arrays," he frowned. He tried to examine them using his spiritual senses to understand what kind of formations they were, but quickly realized they weren’t formations at all.
He frowned again but decided to ignore them for now after a bit of thinking. He sat cross-legged on the floor.
The only reason he had come here was to comprehend the Law of Death. He sent his awareness into his spiritual sea and focused on the Death Tablet that was resting there.
"So how do I even comprehend this?" Daniel murmured to himself. It was his first time, and honestly, he had no idea what to do or how it even worked.
He tapped the tablet lightly, hoping something would happen, but nothing did. He tried to focus on it—and still, nothing happened.
In the end, he injected a bit of his spiritual power into it, and the tablet suddenly began to tremble. Before he could react, a massive amount of knowledge rushed into his mind.
Daniel’s mind began to process and understand the knowledge. He found himself submerged in it completely, as if he were experiencing it firsthand.
What is death? Where does it come from? How did it begin? Why does it exist?
Death is not the enemy of life. Death is not an end—it’s a boundary. Life without death has no meaning. Because something that never ends holds no value.
The Law of Death doesn’t kill. It takes. Not because it’s cruel, but because it guards balance. Death is the keeper of balance. Everything that is created must die to make room for what’s next.
