Chapter 99: Alice Is In Real Danger
Daniel and Joe, after hearing the voice on the other end of the line, immediately rushed toward their cars without hesitation.
"Let's take my car," Joe said, gesturing toward his vehicle. If they went with Daniel's car, it would definitely take much longer.
"Give me the keys," Daniel agreed but told Joe to hand over the car keys.
Joe sighed. He knew that giving the keys might mean it was his last day alive, but he had no other choice. He tossed the keys toward Daniel and got into the car.
Daniel got in too, started the engine, pulled out of the parking spot, and hit the road toward the academy.
"Slow down, you maniac! I swear I'm still too young to die!" Joe shouted in fear mid-drive due to Daniel's driving.
The car was comfortably going at 300 km/h. If it went just a little faster, it could probably take off and fly.
Daniel ignored him and even pushed the speed further.
"God, please save me..."
It didn't take long—what should've been a 45-minute trip only took them 10 minutes. They arrived at their destination and immediately got out of the car and headed into the academy.
"Where can I find the academy director?" Daniel approached a staff member and asked.
"Huh? Mr. Noir? You can find the director in the training hall downstairs," the staff member was briefly confused at first, but after realizing who it was, answered without hesitation.
