Chapter 334: Crosses, Dragonfire and Angels
"COME AND GET IT, WASPS!"
On earth, back on mud and dirt, and the streams of blood and rain rushing in the pog, Racquel heard Lilith’s great flying serpent tear asunder the heavens in a slitherous voice both as dead gunshot and sighing ocean. The rains which had seemed to be packing in the last hour hit a fresh wave and the hail began. Thus the beginning of [Stormanos]: the rains of the abyss. This was a hail that Titans Landing had never seen. The city was in hiding; a forced sleep, from which only courageous eyes peered out wind-worn windows—one hand on the latch, one hand clasped to the breast in prayer—to gaze yonder at the gods clashing in the grim sky.
Sure that Rafel’s exes heard exactly what she did from Lilith, Racquel Serpent stretched her own thin voice up to the lightning-diced firmament, shouting on top of her lungs, very crazily, "you lot better get her! I AIN’T SACRIFICING MY BLOOD FOR THIS DRAGON BITCH’S DINNER!"
"HA HA HA HA HA! SILLY FLESHBAGS!" Lilith’s deepened slur struck the darkness above.
Her dragon form was dense as a small hill up there—formidable and stupendous. A whole lot of dish-sized scales to look at, fattened tail like a python, teeth surer than tusks of a mammoth; an entire dread in the skies. Her visage bespoke its own horror. If you did not know just how pretty Lilith was before her turning, you’d love more the vision of a zombie. Like grinding gears of a dwarven giant, her voice smoked out, "Look upon me, mortals, and shiver."
They did.
[Blue Fire] was the first to bullet out of the sky to take on Lilith. The conjoined super-self of both royal Romanov sisters, Blue Fire glowed as a sapphire comet as they—now one ultra entity with the raw punch of a star—shot across the bedarkened heavens. Their twin voices melded as they rammed one fist of ethereal flames into Lilith’s side.
"It is thee who should shiver, harlot of Hel."
BOOM!
Even Racquel down below felt the ricochet of the punch. A few more stones crumbled in it. The Romanov sisters thought they must have at landed a dent in her scales, but then the fearsome, gargantuan tail whipped out fast in a slash.
SICCCCC—
It caught Blue Fire in their chest, sending their form spiralling. But the Umber Dragon was not so freely appeased for she shot out after the ultra-girl. Her one menacing claw pulled their floating form to her just as her massive tail whipped out again—wiping down with terrible force. Blue Fire tore out from the dark clouds, hitting the earth hard with a boom that made Racquel jump on her two feet. Snarling, Lilith moved to finish them up. Her great-spanning wings folded behind like a ghost’s cowl as she started to descend. But Bloody Mary grabbed onto her tail.
