The Horned Desert King displayed what was, for a Pokémon like him, an expression of satisfaction after hearing Alex's response, though it was naturally very difficult for a human to recognize such subtle emotional changes on a Flygon's face.
He then briefly glanced toward the human skulls lying among the pile of collected items before calmly saying, "Although you may not believe me, the truth is that I actually find humans very interesting creatures and do not harbor any particularly negative feelings toward them."
Alex immediately showed a slightly bewildered expression after hearing those words.
The existence of several human skulls within the Flygon's collection made that statement sound extremely contradictory. Even so, Alex still believed that the mutated Flygon was not lying to him.
At the very least, the Flygon himself probably genuinely believed his own words.
The Horned Desert King slowly continued his explanation. "Humans possess emotions toward death that are often far stronger than those of Pokémon, Although we Pokémon also possess survival instincts, those instincts are usually much weaker and simpler compared to the emotions humans display when facing death."
His cold eyes slowly moved toward one of the skulls as he continued speaking. "The fear, despair, hatred, regret, and desperation humans reveal in those final moments are truly fascinating and magnificent emotions. They are simply incomparable to anything most Pokémon display."
Alex immediately understood what kind of individual this Flygon truly was after hearing those words.
In his mind, he instantly classified the mutated Flygon as a completely deranged and crazy Pokemon.
