Pokemon: Master of tactics

The Flygon couldn't help but believe, at least for a moment, what the human in front of her was saying.

There had been no hesitation in his voice and no visible deception in his expression, so she started to believe his words a bit.

She thought for a few seconds before finally saying, "I'll convince my mate to hide in another area for six days. I've already know a place where we won't be easily found."

She paused briefly before continuing, "On the seventh day, my pack and I will return to our territory so we can meet you there."

Alex listened carefully. It wasn't the best plan in his opinion. Moving around like that could still leave traces. also, six days might not be enough to be completely safe.

But he didn't say any of that out loud.

Instead, he simply smiled and replied, "Alright, then we have a deal. We'll meet again in seven days."

The Flygon nodded once before slowly backing away, her eyes never leaving Alex and his Pokémon until she had created enough distance.

Then, without another word, she let out a deep, commanding roar and shot into the sky, flying straight toward the city, the same direction her mate had gone.
