Chapter 1626: Epidemic? (1)
Ships had been prepared for us to head to the island.
Even if they were safe on their island, it wasn’t as if the demi humans didn’t prepare for a worst case scenario. That was why they had created these ships in the first place just in case they had to evacuate one day.
But the ships just couldn’t compare to the speed that the wyverns had.
Ships were things that depended on the wind in the end, it wasn’t something that one had complete control over.
As such, it was much easier for us to arrive on the island with our wyverns instead of using the ships.
Though the ships would have a use later as they could be used to transport the goods that would follow.
Even if the wyverns were strong, it wasn’t as if they were strong enough to carry the large amount of supplies that had been offered by the different countries. There were still airships that were coming and the ships could be used to help transport these goods across the water.
Before leaving, there was one thing that I had to make sure of.
"Did you inform them this time?" I asked Vanilla and Chocola in a firm voice.
The chief of the village was the one that responded, "I already sent our fastest messenger hawk with a report. You won’t encounter the same situation as you did in our village when you head to the Mofu Mofu Kingdom."
