Chapter 58: OraOraOra!
Boooom!~
The two powers collided in a cataclysm of fire and fury, the very air screaming as a deafening explosion tore through the heart of Inferna Hollow.
Blinding light swallowed the battlefield, freezing the world for a heartbeat—then came the shockwave, a banshee’s wail of heat and force that slammed into the nearby floating island.
Chunks of stone tore free, ancient trees bent beneath the blast, and the warped air shimmered with leftover power. From the inferno, a guttural laugh echoed.
"Is that all you’ve got, human freak?!" Vulkris bellowed, his voice booming like a volcanic eruption, echoing through the scorched Hollow.
But the triumph in his roar faded almost instantly.
From deep within the smoke and swirling ash, a voice rang out—not panicked, not proud—just cool, confident, and completely unfazed.
"You sure talk a lot for someone who just got knocked on his molten butt,"
Auren called out, stepping through the haze with a smirk. His golden flames flickered in the ash-filled air as he added, "Is that really all you’ve got, toasted cat?"
His silhouette emerged through the whirling ash, outlined in gold and flame. He walked forward slowly, step by step, the inferno parting before him as if recognizing one of its own. His armor glowed with veins of divine energy, gold fractals tracing their way along the plates like living scripture.
Then, Bigbird’s voice came to remind him, "Master, two minutes left."
