Chapter 13: Heaven
"Wow," he exclaimed in excitement.
But suddenly, his excitement deflated—and one thought came to his mind:
"...But then—was that dream real?"
He questioned himself, but before he could answer his own question, the door of the room opened.
CREAK
And a nurse entered with a tray in her hands, on which were some medicines and other stuff.
This caused him to tense up a little and look away from his reflection to the door to see who it was. But after seeing the nurse, he visibly relaxed and sat down on the bed silently.
But the nurse, who saw him sitting up, was feeling everything else but relaxed.
"How?" she muttered under her breath in surprise. But quickly, the surprise went away, and joy took over her face as she hurriedly walked up to him and spoke.
"Are you feeling okay? Do you feel any pain? And how long has it been since you woke up?" she asked multiple questions while checking if everything was okay. After having checked to her heart’s content, she relaxed and backed up a little and spoke slowly and softly this time.
"Are you feeling any pain?" she asked.
