Chapter 80: Ring of Truth
Caelen sat at his workbench late into the night. Metal scraps, crystals, and wire pieces were scattered everywhere. A soft glow came from a blue stone at the center of the table—one he found deep in the mines weeks ago.
He stared at it, eyes heavy. "Come on... just one more enchantment."
The ring lay in the middle. Smooth, silver, and simple. But it wasn't just a ring.
It was the result of everything he'd learned so far—magic, metalwork, enchantments, and even system codes he copied from his own interface.
He muttered a few words and touched the crystal to the ring. The gem pulsed softly, then faded. For a second, nothing happened.
Then:
[Artifact Created: Ring of Reflection]
A crafted artifact by Caelen. Reveals the wearer's status. Tapping the ring summons a holographic screen. Aligned with truth—will glow blue for good, red for evil.
Caelen blinked.
He tapped the ring gently.
A small, transparent screen popped up in the air, floating above the ring like magic. It showed his name, skills, magic levels—and at the top, a gentle blue glow.
