The man rubbed his hands, looking uneasy.
He had gotten the news that Tang Chuxia had married Gu Beihuai, but since the couple hadn’t had a wedding, he hadn’t celebrated and had been thinking about finding some time to go to the city to thank them for the money Tang Chuxia left last year that saved his family.

Huang Cuifen took Tang Chuxia to wash her face, careful not to make too much noise, afraid others might notice, and quietly instructed her to rest without worrying about anything else.

When the man saw the two patrol soldiers placed under the eaves by Tang Chuxia, he couldn’t just leave them be. He kicked a family’s door—where people kept dogs—and then ran off.

“It’s good you like it! My husband has already gone to the post office to call your partner for you, don’t worry!”

Tang Chuxia nodded, trusting the couple’s character.
“When I went out this morning, everyone was talking about flying zombies hurting people, big sister, you needn’t worry about your tracks being discovered!”
Tang Chuxia nearly choked on her chive pocket, shocked. Her actions last night had been frightening, but to be rumored as a flying zombie causing harm?
She was a person, not a zombie.
But thinking about her actions last night still made her a bit embarrassed.
“Have those four guys woken up?”
Tang Chuxia finally remembered the four men she had brought back.
