Chapter 246: Rob Again
Tang Chuxia looked around and, observing the sky, reminded Yang Chao to come inside to talk.
Madam Tang politely invited Yang Chao into the house.
Finally, Yang Chao saw Tang Chuxia. His gaze didn’t make her uncomfortable; it was even somewhat kind.
"This must be Xiaxia, right?"
Yang Chao initiated the topic, and Madam Tang nodded. After sitting down in the room, Yang Chao said to Tang Chuxia, "I’ve heard about the trouble between you and my daughter. She has caused you a lot of trouble, and I will make sure she apologizes to you!"
Tang Chuxia blurted out without thinking,
"Uncle Yang, are you sure Tang Wanqiu is your daughter?"
Madam Tang turned pale. She never expected her daughter to ask such a direct question and was genuinely afraid Yang Chao would lose his temper.
But, as it turned out, she worried needlessly, Yang Chao not only didn’t get angry, he even started laughing.
"No matter whose daughter she really is, since she was born in the Yang family, she is a child of the Yang family!"
Yang Chao’s statement showed Tang Chuxia a different side of him.
