As soon as they got off the car, Bai Weiwei excitedly pulled Lu Tianxing along, rushing into the Night Fragrance Bar like Granny Liu entering the Grand View Garden, her eyes filled with curiosity as she looked around, her beautiful eyes sparkling with intrigue.
"Beautiful, welcome! What would you like to drink?"
At the bar counter, seeing Bai Weiwei approaching, several bartenders immediately became excited, striking their most handsome poses; their cocktail-making actions suddenly turned flashy, dazzling onlookers, in hopes of catching Bai Weiwei’s attention.
"She doesn’t need anything specific, get her a juice and a tequila for me."
Bai Weiwei hadn’t even spoken when Lu Tianxing had already taken the liberty of ordering.
"Brother-in-law, how can you do this? I’m already twenty. Besides, who drinks juice in a bar?"
Bai Weiwei called out in dissatisfaction, waving her hand, "Don’t listen to him. Get me a ladies’ cocktail."
This was a trick her friends had taught her: for her first time at a bar, she didn’t want to appear inexperienced. Ordering a ladies’ cocktail was just right; it wasn’t too intoxicating nor was it embarrassing.
