Chapter 311 - 300
"Is the target still Earth?"
Leon sat on a chair on the manor's lawn. At this moment, he wore a thicker shirt, rolled up his cuffs, and donned sunglasses, gazing at the somewhat gloomy sky. Through the thick clouds, across the vast distance, he could see another world—where Loki was in action.
"Using Earth as a battlefield, creating chaos, and seizing the opportunity to find the gems. He can also use her to divert my attention and even indirectly release Asgard's enemy ahead of time."
"This guy's plan isn't bad."
From his elevated perspective, Leon could see the entire situation unfolding. He understood the main trajectory of events, and while there were minor deviations, they weren't significant enough to change the bigger picture. Loki's actions wouldn't bring harm to Earth or have a major impact on Asgard.
In other words, the future would remain within Odin's control.
That was why Odin allowed Loki to enter Helheim. Otherwise, the seal Odin had placed there should have reacted the moment Loki set foot inside. Yet, Odin remained silent, even deliberately loosening the barrier—almost as if he wanted that woman to escape.
Leon shook his head helplessly.
It seemed he would have to step in this time. After all, that woman shared the same origins as Asgard. As long as Asgard existed, so would she. To kill her, Asgard itself would have to be destroyed first.
Fortunately, she had been sealed away for centuries, far from Asgard, leaving her in a weakened state.
"This old man is determined to tie me into his schemes," Leon muttered.
