Marvel: My Sign-in System

Chapter 256: C248

The grand hall was packed with attendees, including the gods of the Aesir, the Warriors Three, Lady Sif, and several Asgardian commanders. At the forefront of the gathering stood Natasha, Wanda, Sergey, and their allies.

The throne at the top of the steps remained empty. Beneath it, standing before the gathered gods, were Thor and Odin's wife, Frigga. At the center of attention knelt Loki Odinson, one of the day's protagonists.

Loki lowered his head, his expression unreadable. He knelt silently on the smooth floor, his life seemingly at the mercy of the onlookers.

A heavy silence hung over the hall.

Natasha, Wanda, and the others observed the scene quietly, occasionally glancing around the grand palace, their curiosity evident.

Loki had betrayed Asgard, colluding with the infamous Chitauri to declare war on the realm. His actions were treason of the highest order. If not for his status as Odin's son, Loki's fate would have been sealed by the executioner's axe.

Frigga stood tall in elegant, luxurious attire, her gentle demeanor unshaken. Her face, though regal, was tinged with sorrow as she gazed at her son. Loki remained kneeling, refusing to meet her eyes.

Unable to bear it any longer, Frigga descended the steps. The movement caused murmurs among the onlookers, and some gods instinctively reached out to stop her. After all, Loki had betrayed Asgard and led an invasion—no one could predict if he might lash out at her.

But Frigga paid no heed to their concerns.
