The ancient lich, Momon, gnashed his teeth as he looked at Yan.
He didn’t know what had happened, but he had been lured out of his lair in his sleep and forced to fight with some strange fellows.
After the fierce battle that ensued, he regained some of his sanity and remembered the elixirs and life vessel he had hidden in his lair.
Just then, the alarm magic he had set up went off.
From then on, he focused more on getting out of there and returning to his lair than continuing the fight.
But the enemies clung to him stubbornly, and he had no choice but to escape with some damage.
The wounds he had suffered were so severe that even if his life vessel was intact, he would have to recuperate for at least a year.
And when he arrived after all that trouble!
The elixirs were already in that bastard’s stomach.
And they had been absorbed completely.
