Chapter 806 - 805: Porygon2
Porygon’s perspective appeared on the screen in front of Cain.
It was as if he were looking through a strange distorted crystal, seeing his own figure on the other side of the glass, reduced in size.
It was a curious experience.
Without paying too much attention to the view, Cain ordered the system to close the virtual screen and summoned Porygon.
However, just after calling it out, a white light suddenly enveloped Porygon.
It was evolving!
Cain watched in amazement as Porygon evolved following the system update.
According to Cain’s knowledge of this species of Pokémon, Porygon’s first evolution normally required the use of the Upgrade item to evolve.
In this case, the evolution also made sense.
Since the system had downloaded all of Porygon’s information into its database, it could be interpreted that the process replicated the necessary conditions for using the Upgrade item, allowing evolution without the use of a physical item.
In essence, this was not so different from directly using the Upgrade item normally required.
Before the update, since the system was in suspended mode, Porygon—as an extension of the system—had also entered sleep mode. Now that the system had completed its update, Porygon immediately began its evolution.
