Each person present was a prominent figure.
"Cain, did you mention that you discovered a new type? Is this true? If you’re not completely certain, it might be better to apologize to all these distinguished individuals for having made them come here in the middle of their busy schedules. Cain looked at Juan, understanding that he was trying to protect him. If the discovery turned out to be incorrect after gathering so many important figures, it could severely damage Cain’s career within the League.
Juan was laying the groundwork for a possible retreat without major consequences.
Cain silently thanked him with his eyes, but his face remained confident.
