Cain communicated telepathically with his Gengar to explain the plan. Gengar gave a subtle nod, indicating he understood, and then melted into a shadow that silently slipped through the gap in the door.
Cain placed his hand on the control room’s access panel and, with the help of his system, forced the door open. A soft "click" echoed in the air as the lock disengaged.
"Who’s there?" the two people inside exclaimed, visibly alarmed by the sound of the door.
The room was dark, and Cain took advantage of the dim lighting to slip in quickly. Before the occupants could react, Gengar had already moved.
With precise movements, he grabbed both of their ankles and hurled them toward a wall. Their attempts to reach for the Poké Balls on their belts were futile, as Gengar snatched them away before they could release their Pokémon.
