Then, she began to recount: "The creator god, Arceus, shaped the world with the help of the god of time, Dialga, and the god of space, Palkia. However, one day, a creature from a destroyed world appeared and, upon encountering Arceus, attacked it."

"Although the creature was ultimately defeated and sealed in its original world, Arceus was gravely injured, as it continued to dedicate its energy to the creation of the world."

"In the end, the Pokémon world was completed, but Arceus withdrew to heal its wounds. With its absence, Dialga and Palkia began to have conflicts, which led to a great battle that wreaked havoc on the Pokémon world."

Cynthia explained that the inhabitants of Celestic Town believe this battle marked the end of the ancient era of the Pokémon world and the beginning of a new civilization.

However, Cain knew that this version was inaccurate.

Although Dialga and Palkia were powerful, they were not strong enough to significantly alter the course of the Pokémon world.
