In another corner of the battlefield, the fight between Nidoking and Altaria had reached its peak.
Nidoking's move, Thunderbolt, landed directly on Altaria, dealing damage and completely enraging her. As one of the dominant Pokémon on Mythical Island, Altaria was not accustomed to being attacked.
She flew through the air with a movement that seemed to follow a peculiar rhythm.

Nidoking, relying on what it knew, used Thunderbolt again, knowing it was effective against Flying-type Pokémon. However, Altaria, already empowered by Dragon Dance, easily dodged the attack without needing any direction from Cain.
Altaria then soared to the highest point of the hall, looking down at Nidoking from above with a cold, calculating gaze. There was no trace of mercy in Altaria's eyes.
Nidoking felt a primal fear, as though its body recognized the threat before its mind could. It was a natural sensation for a Pokémon facing one far more powerful.
Altaria, not giving Nidoking a chance to recover, executed her most devastating move: Dragon Rush. Transforming into a massive blue dragon, Altaria dove from the heights, aiming directly at Nidoking.
From Nidoking's perspective, the dragon's figure grew larger and larger until it finally struck with a deafening crash.
