Chapter 586 - 585: Carbink
Cain had a suspicion in his mind.
As the Pokémon continued digging and uncovering more diamonds, that suspicion grew stronger.
He set aside some of the larger diamonds, leaving the smaller ones for Larvitar as a snack.
Additionally, Cain decided to call Aron out as well.
When Aron appeared and saw Larvitar frantically devouring diamonds, his eyes filled with envy.
Without saying a word, Aron simply sat next to Larvitar and started eating too.
Larvitar noticed Aron's presence but didn't say much, merely letting out a few sounds while chewing since his mouth was still full of diamonds.
Although both Larvitar and Aron could eat diamonds, compared to other minerals, diamonds were quite hard, so they ate them more slowly.
Moreover, diamonds contained much more energy, and both began to feel as though their stomachs were reaching full capacity, as if they might burst.
However, seeing the endless stream of diamonds being unearthed, neither seemed willing to stop.
Suddenly, Larvitar had a brilliant idea. He took off his small red backpack, which had a fragment of Groudon's armor in the main compartment but still had other empty compartments.
