Chapter 519 - 518: Camerupt’s Uncontrolled Growth
After Butler gave the order, Camerupt's actions were a bit slow, but only by half a second.
A shockwave from Earthquake spread from Camerupt toward the two Metang, Slowking, and Skorupi.
The toxic spikes Skorupi had scattered on the ground were shaken and scattered by the earthquake. Once the shockwave passed, only a few remnants remained.
Metang, being a Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon, as well as a pseudo-legendary, had remarkable resistance due to its attributes.
But Butler clearly understood Metang's type matchups: Ground-type moves dealt double damage, as did Ghost, Fire, and Dark-types.
Metang had double resistance to Normal, Flying, Rock, Steel, Grass, Ice, Dragon, and Fairy-types—eight types in total.
Not to mention, Metang was immune to Poison-type moves and had quadruple resistance to Psychic-types.
But could Butler's knowledge of Metang rival Steven's?
Steven understood Metang's weaknesses better than anyone.
