Honchkrow and Sneasel stepped forward, blocking the mother Absol's path, but left enough space for her to observe what Cain was doing.
The three Absol pups, seeing a stranger approach, began to whine softly, especially the two healthy ones—the non-shiny Absols—who moved to shield the shiny Absol.
"Abs~~" the mother Absol murmured softly.
Only then did the two little Absols stop blocking the way and quiet down.
Cain slowly placed his hand on the shiny Absol's red fur.
A soft and warm sensation transmitted from his hand.
"System, initiate a detailed scan," Cain ordered in his mind.
At the same time, he pretended to observe carefully.
