"We could give the buffet a go. You’ll certainly need some meat on you if you want to beat me in views, bestie." Nyx happily accommodated Aria’s request while throwing a jab at Luna at the same time.
"You don’t have meat on you but pure fat, you dairy cow. My body is perfectly fine as is; Kaiden said so." The Storm Valkyrie rebuffed Nyx’s claims by citing her boyfriend’s words.
The two stood from the sofa and continued bickering all the way to the door, which they closed behind themselves after they left.
"So..." Kaiden started, unsure what exactly was going on.
"I’ll change clothes, you just have to lie down in your bed and wait a bit. Use [Remove Her Inhibitions] on me as soon as I emerge from the bathroom, please." Aria was very nervous, based on her jittery expression.
"You know we can wait if you’re not ready."
"No..." she shook her head firmly. "Kai, please trust me on this."
"Sure, Aria. The first step is always the hardest, I’m proud of you."
The silver-haired girl gave him a wonderful smile before going to the bathroom. On her way out, she cutely hugged the wall with her back so that Kaiden wouldn’t see what she was carrying behind her.
This was the Awakened Hospital, where they accommodated a lot of requests from the patients, and Aria made perfect use of this opportunity to request a specific uniform and a few extra accessories. They were not on hand, so the hospital staff had to send a runner to get it, but they did it without making any comments besides a strongly raised eyebrow. Such was the value governments placed on keeping their awakened citizens happy.
