Chapter 60: Valkyrie RP
So hot, in fact, that Kaiden forgot to use his skill on her. As soon as he corrected that mistake, the plump Valkyrie parted her lips, uttering a sentence in a tone Kaiden found to be alien, as if it wasn't even formed by Nyx's vocal cords. She sounded so subservient, so reverent... It sounded like she was speaking to her one and only god.
"Allfather, your journey has ended for now. Your return brings light to the halls of Valhalla once again. Let my loyalty and my body be the warmth that welcomes you."
'Holy... This is some heavy roleplaying,' Kaiden thought. He knew Nyx was into mythology, and he was also aware she considered him to be Odin due to the naming sense the system used for his empowered harem members.
Due to her strong insistence on him being the Allfather, Kaiden couldn't help himself but be curious about the topic, so he read up about it a bit, which in turn allowed him to reply in a way the RP would be more realistic than a normal modern-day dude getting pampered by a Valkyrie.
He closed his eyes just for a moment to collect his thoughts and get into the mindset properly, and once he parted his eyelids, he was ready.
Kaiden was Odin now.
"You honor me, my shieldmaiden, more than the spoils of any victory could. If you continue welcoming me like this, I might find myself heading into battle just so I can return home again."
A small tremor traversed down from the top of Nyx's head to the end of her spine. The Space Valkyrie was not at all expecting such a response from him, so it was her turn to be surprised by the actions of the other party.
Nyx's idea was to just service him while acting as his warrior angel, but she never expected her man to have the talent to act without her giving him a heads-up.
She wasn't going to be outshone, though.
