Chapter 30: Final Preparations
"We employ women in this studio to do the camera work. Virgins tend to heavily prefer their presence," Zadie replied, making both youngsters sigh with relief.
After a short walk, they arrived at the makeup room, which was spacious with a long vanity mirror adorning it. Various makeup tools and products were neatly laid out on the counter - brushes, palettes, sprays, and more.
"Ah, you're here," the makeup artist, a lively woman with short, vibrant blonde hair, greeted them. "Take a seat, and we'll get you camera-ready in no time."
Kaiden took a seat in one of the chairs while Aria sat next to him. The makeup artist started with Aria, pulling out a foundation and carefully applying it to even out her complexion. She added a light dusting of powder to set the base, then moved on to subtle contouring to enhance her genetic lottery winner facial features. "We'll keep it natural but still make sure you look perfect on camera," the makeup artist explained while blending a soft pink blush onto Aria's cheeks.
For Kaiden, the process was even simpler. The woman checked his skin and quickly applied a bit of a matte powder to reduce shine under the strong lighting. She then ran a comb through his hair, smoothing out any stray strands.
"All set," she said after a few minutes, stepping back to admire her work.
Kaiden glanced at Aria through the mirror, noting how the subtle touch-up enhanced her natural beauty even further than he thought possible. Aria caught his gaze but quickly averted her eyes. She was flustered.
'It's truly happening. I'm about to take this divine existence's first time...' Kaiden thought inwardly.
By the time they came back to the shooting room, two women were already present. Both were fiddling around with cameras and computers, setting everything up.
"Good, you're finally here," one of the women said without looking up. "We'll start rolling once everything's in place. Just act out the script when we give the signal."
