Once properly prepared, Orion headed downstairs to join Eldric and Selene for a peaceful, comforting breakfast.
As usual, their pleasant morning conversation and gentle warmth filled him with a reassuring sense of family and stability.
After finishing breakfast, Orion decided to step outside, enjoying the fresh morning breeze.
Casually strolling through the mansion’s beautifully maintained gardens, he quickly spotted Edgar lounging leisurely beneath the warm sunlight, with Lucan comfortably seated nearby, both clearly relishing the peaceful atmosphere.
Orion approached them with a relaxed smile, raising an eyebrow slightly in amusement. "Enjoying yourselves, Uncle Edgar, Brother Lucan?"
Edgar chuckled softly, his eyes closed and expression content as he replied lazily, "Ah, Young Master, the sunlight today is especially pleasant. You should try sunbathing too—excellent for relaxing tired muscles."
Lucan opened one eye briefly, smirking playfully. "Indeed, Young Master, take advantage of such peaceful mornings while you can. They tend to be rare lately, given how busy you keep us."
Orion laughed lightly, shaking his head as he settled beside them. "Perhaps you’re right. A brief moment of relaxation wouldn’t hurt before we go back to train."
Edgar nodded approvingly, his voice calm and reassuring. "Precisely, Young Master. Sometimes slowing down is exactly what we need to accelerate our progress."
Orion smiled softly, leaning back comfortably, savoring the gentle warmth of the sun. The three of them lay down below the sun for some quiet moments before Orion softly asked, "Uncle Edgar, do you know about the past of Rina and Fiora?"
Edgar opened his eyes and looked at Orion with slight surprise. "I see, so Master Eldric and Lady Selene decided to tell you, huh? And yes, I do know. I have been serving Master Eldric for a long time now."
