Chapter 161: Center of Sea of Consciousness
Orion relaxed, feeling the subtle pressure in his mind dissipate. Three new spells now floated elegantly within his Sea of Consciousness, their structures stable and clearly defined.
"Good, I've got four spells now," he said to himself, pleased.
[Congratulations, Master!
Orion gently smiled and turned around, looking at the boundless expanse of azure in front of him. 'Lumi… where is the center of my Sea of Consciousness? I can't seem to pinpoint it.'
[The center of your SoC holds your soul, Master. So it's hidden within the SoC. You won't be able to find it until you increase your strength further. And it's quite useless for you right now.]
'Hmm… So, when someone attacks the soul using Spirit Arts, does the soul tank the damage directly?' he asked while floating here and there inside his SoC, feeling the presence of his abilities and the Soulpiercer Sword within.
[Yes, but Spirit Art users can also form defenses around their soul. Then there are treasures to guard the soul—but those are rather rare to find.]
'Hmm, well I'll learn Spirit Arts once I get more time on my hands. There are no beginner spells for the soul on that path anyway.'
[Hehe, I remember someone saying, "I feel like a bum, waking up, eating, sleeping." How does it feel now?]
Orion chuckled to himself while returning his consciousness to the physical realm. 'Well, I certainly didn't expect myself to not even have the time to breathe. And hell, I haven't even started learning any of the paths yet.'
[Hehe, what you're trying to learn would take others a few lifetimes to master—of course you won't have time if you're trying to hurry. ٩(。•́‿•̀。)۶]
He softly laughed while standing up and stretching. 'I would've just eaten and slept if I didn't want to hurry up. My Dragon Lineage would've made me stronger over time anyway.'
