Each subsequent attempt improved incrementally, until finally, after multiple painstaking tries, he achieved a fully formed, vibrant, and stable Fire Rune—one equal to the standard depicted in the book.
He gazed upon it proudly, feeling a sense of deep accomplishment. His fingertips gently brushed over the dried symbol, feeling a soft warmth radiate gently from the parchment.
