His earlier smirk had faded into a more relaxed expression, fully enjoying this rewarding bath after an intense training session.
"There," Rina said with a grin once she fastened the last tie. "Our handsome master is back again. Looking even better." She gave him a wink.
Orion chuckled at her words. "Stop before I let it get to my head."
"You should eat dinner before letting it go to your head," she giggled and said.
Fiora let out a small laugh from the side, adjusting her sleeves. "Come on, dinner’s ready, Master."
The three of them exited the room and made their way down the lantern-lit hall toward the dining room. The aroma of food already reached halfway down the hallway as his stomach growled audibly.
"Someone’s ready to eat," Rina teased.
"I’ve been doing one thing after another since morning. Attending the ceremony, beating up an idiot noble, attending class, trading treasure, practicing swordsmanship," Orion grumbled. "At this point, I deserve a feast."
He reached the dining hall and opened the gates to be greeted by a table filled with dishes. Maids were even busier than usual, filling the table with all kinds of delicacies.
Seated at the dining table were two people who had been waiting for him all this time.
Eldric looked up and laughed heartily as Orion stepped in. "Hahaha, here comes our pride. You really lifted my old name to new heights with your display of talent."
