"Please put it away for now, my lord. It’s best to wait until Akalaisi wakes up before using it," Janice reminded him gently.
Romon took her advice seriously. He handed the Flower Demon Queen’s Heart to Talia for safekeeping, then gave an order to the group: "Let’s head out for now."
"Wait, my lord—there’s a treasure chest over there. I think you should be the one to open it," Talia said, pointing toward the Flower Demon Queen’s corpse.
"A treasure chest?"
His magic book had come from a treasure chest once before. It wasn’t invincible, but it had certainly helped him a great deal.
He walked forward.
Sure enough, now that the Flower Demon Queen was dead, a chest had appeared next to her.
This chest was different from the ornate ones they’d seen before. It looked plain, and the material was almost see-through.
Romon opened it slowly. Inside, lying quietly at the bottom, was a perfectly clear orb about twenty centimeters in diameter.
There was nothing else in the chest.
"What’s this?"
