Originally, Su Hongying was thinking of sending the two children to her mother’s place, leaving the family affairs to her brother-in-law. She planned to stay with her husband at her sister-in-law’s place for a month or so, and only discuss things after Lian Yue had recovered after childbirth.
Otherwise, with a new mom and a non-biological dad, she wouldn’t feel at ease if she wasn’t around to help out.
