Early the next morning, just as the sky was beginning to lighten, there was a loud knocking at the Lian family’s door.

Realizing that they might have overdone it seeing Lianshan’s somewhat flustered demeanor, they switched to deep bows: "Comrade Lianshan, we are Grandpa Jiang’s grandson-in-law and granddaughter. I am Jiang Limin, and this is my wife Jiang Shengnan. We came here today specifically to thank you, your wife, and your elder sister and her husband, as well as your brother, for your selfless help to our grandfather.
A life-saving grace is greater than the sky, far beyond what these things can express even a fraction of.
