The Well of Turbulent Daos had fled further away, but it hadn’t truly left either. Rather, it was eyeing the situation hungrily.
The Outsider Celestial Demon army scampered off in panic, like dogs without their masters, but their leaders remained calm. They’d left the area affected by the tribulation, but they fled no further. They were obviously waiting for an opportunity to make a counterattack.
Over on the walls of Dao-Seeking City, Luo Yao and the others’ expressions shifted. It was hard to tell whether they were happy or not.
This was, perhaps, because too many variables had arisen too quickly, and they couldn’t quite keep up with it all.
After taking all of this in, Su Yi turned his attention away from his surroundings. It was time to prove his Dao!
