Chapter 86: Something I don’t know.
"You’re scary, you know that right?" Theo commented, taking her straw, opening it and using it to chuck a hole in the transparent cup for her.
"Not enough, apparently." She deadpanned, taking a sip of her beverage, a moan escaping her lips subconsciously. "This is good!" She squealed with wide eyes, taking another sip.
"Yeah, it is." He said, chucking in his straw and taking a sip. "It’s good and comforting." He commented quietly.
"Yeah. And so creamy. You should bring this to the pack." She suggested, stirring her beverage.
Theo chuckled at her suggestion, shaking his head. "The number of people that would be able to afford it is way less than the number of people that wouldn’t. But in the coming years, I’m sure they will. Then we’d bring it down there. Happy?" He asked, earning a hearty bod from her.
They sat for a while in comfortable silence, Bethany completely mesmerized by her beverage, until it finished.
"That was amazing, Theo. And very satisfying." She commented, looking down at the plastic cup.
"Mmhm." He said, pushing his empty one away from him. "Do you want to move now or wait a little?" He asked.
"I think I’d wait." She said leaning back into the booth. "That drink was heavy." She said, causing him to chuckle.
"The weight comes with the extra cream." He explained.
"That’s sad. Thought it just came with sweetness."
