One more floor. That was all, but he couldn’t climb a single step more. Defeated, he sat on the stairs panting. The pheromones could be contained with the nape patch and his urges with the suppressor, but the fever residing inside his body couldn’t be remedied. That’s why, despite everything, it was recommended for omegas to stay home during heat.
It had been a while since the last time he felt this weak. In his previous body, he could only occasionally go outside for a walk, and without missing it once, he would always end up with a high fever and body aches for the next three days.
