Chapter 134: Measurements
As promised, I heard a knock on my bedroom door early the next morning.
"Second Miss, we’re here to take your measurements."
Measurements? That’s a nice way of saying ’we’re here to see if you gained weight’.
I quickly got out of bed and opened the door, allowing all three maids to enter my room. The first maid, Anna, held a glass scale.
"Second Miss, please step on the scale. It will only be a brief moment," she said, placing it on the floor in front of me.
Frowning, I did as told and got on, waiting for Anna to write down the number.
"There’s been a slight increase," she announced.
As soon as she finished recording the number, she motioned to the other two maids to come over and take my measurements.
I thought I was only going to get weighed today?
