Chapter 89: Fight for Attention
Morgan was about to say something, but the doors to the dining room suddenly opened.
Christian stepped into the room, followed by my father. The room quickly quieted down, as Morgan and Cherie were now fully focused on Christian.
He was wearing a well-tailored black suit, different from the one he wore to work today. He looked dignified, and his steps were full of confidence.
As soon as he entered, I felt his gaze lock onto me. Though it wasn’t long, it was enough to tell me that he liked today’s outfit.
Having received the affirmation I wanted, I walked over to the table to allow the other two ’beauties’ to fawn over Christian.
They both quickly ran up to his side, each one grabbing one of his arms.
"I’m so happy to see you here. Did you miss me?" asked Morgan, blushing.
Before Christian could answer, Cherie tugged his other arm, "You’re so sweet, you knew that I was here and came to see me!"
I watched with amusement, curious how he would get himself out of this mess.
"Ladies, it’s such a pleasure to see you today. Let me walk you over to your seats," he said with a magnetic voice.
I raised my eyebrow, wondering if his little charming trick would work, but when I saw the glazed-over eyes on both Morgan and Cherie, I knew that it worked a little too well.
